iv been feeding my reed fish prekilled rosies and frozen blood worms. they all seem healthy but im concerned that some of them arent eating much. does anyone have experience with them and have other foods to recomend? im worried about em, their my favorites and i wanna make sure their eating well. thanks in advance.

yes, Try frozen brine shrimp. they come in frozen cubes like blood worms. also, polypterus fish enjoy carnivore pellets. such as shrimp pellets, ccatfish pellets, ETC.

chunk some cocktail shrimp into managable sized pieces and try that. also hikari carnivore pellets

Mine loves pieces of earthworm (can fit a whole one in his mouth)

I also tried giving him my beefheart recipe last night. He enjoyed that thoroughly.

I also noticed that mine will eat earlier in the day, but he is REALLY excited about eating once its been dark in the room for a while
He is deffinately a nocturnal hunter.

They are really cool little guys. I actually like him more than my ornate.
