Has anyone here successfully kept this combo in a standard 75g? The Reedfish in question is over a ft, yet still rather slim. The Congos would be in between 1 1/2-2 inches and the Lionheads around 3 inches. I could find larger Congo tetras but its more the Lionheads I'm concerned with. I realize it could be risky from both sides (the Reedfish taking a bite out of the Lionheads, or the Lionheads attacking the Reedfish) so I wanted to get some input from people that have tried this stocking combo or a similar enough combo to give relevant info. Thanks in advance for your time.

By lionhead do you mean Steatocranus casarius, the buffalohead cichlid?
If so, they get together very well. I've had the two species mixed for about 12 years now. No attacks at all. The only problem I've ever encountered was when I added my three new retros (3") to the 50. The 2 largest buffaloheads attacked them immediatley, and were immediatley scooped and transferred.
The rest of the buffaloheads are perfectly fine with them.
Shouldn't be any issues with the congos either.

James is totally correct, Reedfish (Ropefish) are beyond docile.

Should be ok.

I have found (unfortunately) that Reed fish will eat other fish if they are relatively thin. Mine ate my 7cm Halfbeaks which I thought would have been safe. But I have Hatchet Fish of about half that size that have been fine.
