I just setup a standard 55 Gallon (48 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 21) saltwater tank. I want to start keeping corals. I currently have two 54 watt wave point daylight bulbs and two 54 watt actinic bulbs powered by two Yo Neng 120v ballasts. I purchased this tank off of craigslist and the guy told me that at one point he was keeping clams under these lights. I have had a FOWLR tank before but this is really my first go at coral keeping. I would like to start out with soft corals and go from there. So my question is,"Is this going to be enough light for me to grow coral?"
