its been a month since i disconnected the skimmer and its like theirs no difference.my levels are in check,water is clear and good,no algae build up or anything.would you agree if i said just to keep my filter squeeky clean regularly and i wouldnt need my skimmer ever?

If all your levels are fine then i think you could keep the skimmer off, My 75 gal tank doesnt have a filter or a skimmer and it does just fine as long as i have plenty of water movement and its been running like that for 2 or 3 months just fine
thats cool,i was scared to take it out but feel better about taking it away,.skimmers r such a pain in general.
