My buddy had these antiques from an old chicago hotel, from the 30' or 40's. anyway hes retarded and let his two black labs sleep on them for years in the from porch, so yea they reaked of dog pi$$ and had more hair on them then the dogs.
he wanted me to help him carry them out to burn them, i loaded them in the truck, completly stripped them down, redid the springs and built new cushions(my mom sewed them actaully) and refinished the hand carved wood frame. total investment $85 bucks and about about 30 hours labor i suppose.
i think they rock, wife is even impressed, very rare.
anyway i love to make art out of garbage..enjoy the pics .. and dont call me if your dog goes on your couch!
