refugium at 1.010 - 1.018?

I like the idea of a refugium for Refuge sake. But I also like how they are used for plants and the benefit they have for your main tank. ARe there plants that I use for this range of salinity?

basically the only widely available plants that tolerate these conditions are mangroves, and they arent really 'plants' as such... they are trees and have the potential to get big. im not sure if you will need to prune them once in a while so they stay small like conifers, or if they will grow regardless.

they also require strong lighting. a brackish refugium is a good idea though, the mangroves will take care of any exess nitrates you have.

I think Java fern would fill a BW fuge quite well.
