Refugium for brackish tank..

What plant can be used in a Brackish Refugium (other then Mangroves), will macro algae live in Brackish? I keep my tank between 1.008 and 1.012.

Light is your biggest limiting factor, controlling algae is the second in case you were wondering .

I have to figure out how I'm going to set up the refugium first.. I'm using a 20 gallon and it's going to be filtering a 55. I have a long ways to go
