My Zonatus are about half the size of my Regani but are about twice as old. I have had both species since they were juveniles and have raised them and fed them the same. The Zonatus are about 2 1/2 years old (about 7 inch's) and the Regani is a little over a year old and about 11 inch's long.
I believe the Zo's are females and the Regani male.

Are the Zo's slower growers? Both species are healthy and beautiful. I was curious why the Regani has out grown them?

Hard to say. Maybe it has something to do with the parents. My Zonatums are clearly ahead of my Regani's and do not appear to be slowing down. I really would not worry since they are healthy. They will reach the size they are going to reach. If that makes sense.
