So I've Been wondering how often i should feed my 5 brim and 2 bass. I got them when i went fishing aerated the water on the way home dripped water into the bucket after about 2 hours put them into the tank. The brim are big as my two hands and are about 4-8 inches long, the two bass are about 10 inches or so.

I bought some mud minnows and drop a few in my bass went straight for them but the brim didnt seem interested in them.

So my questions are this. How often should i feed them and what should i feed them, im asuming some type of live food since they were taken from a pond.

I have a big enough tank so please don't ask for tank specs im asking for feeding advise and nothing more.

Yeah try brine shrimp or I used live earthworm from fishing stores, not out of my yard. They hit the worms fast and hard the second day I had them

Oh and daniel89 let me be the first to say welcome to MFK! And good luck getting them to eat hope our advice helps

i tried crickets but they float on top of the water >.< and rarely will one of my fish see them and strike them. So im asuming earth worms since they sink will have a better chance at getting gobbed up. So how often should i feed these guys?

Try foods like grubs, beetles, small crawfish, ghost/glass/mysis shrimp, nightcrawlers, crickets etc. Then try to train onto frozen foods and go to pellets from there. GL

I have a job interview monday and if i get the job I think ill start buying feeder guppies and glass shrimp and put them in there, but i would like to get them on to some type of frozen food...
