I am running a gast 1/8hp blower in my room with 80 tanks, most are 10’s and 40 breeders

I’m wondering if I switch over to a linear pump or 2 linear pumps will there be a significant difference in power consumption?

Im looking at 2 Danner ap-100’s since I can get them for a great price from a friend who got out of the hobby

or spending the Money and getting a lp-120 from jehmco

If I am not going to see a considerable difference in power consumption I will stick with what I have

Thanks

A quick googling of the specs shows the Danner drawing 100 watts versus the Jehmco at 141 watts, so running a single Jehmco costs slightly less than 75% of what a pair of Danners would cost. But, realistically, either set up is about equivalent to a couple of incandescent light bulbs; air is cheap compared to heat. Personally, I'd go for the redundancy/safety of two pumps over one.
