Does anybody know how (or if its possible) to register a two yr old Australian Shepherd? would love to get her registered b/c she is a very good mother who whelps very good looking pups! the pups would be bought more readily with papers. everyone seems to only want to buy dogs with papers; even though papers doesnt say anything about the quality of dog... It does usually mean that they are 100% pure bred. it would be better for me in the long run to go ahead and get her registered cause i plan on breeding her a few more times atleast... ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

What kennel club did you go thru and how did you go about doin it? its good to hear that you were able to!
google aussie registries & you'll find out if that's still possible, which one. seems like there was only one left that still did that. but it's been a long time.
UKC is the less stringent one more focused on trials and stuff that you can register adult dogs. http://www.ukcdogs.com/Web.nsf/WebPages/Registration/SingleNonStandardBreeds From what I understood you used to have to get a vet or someone inspect your dog and compare it to the breed standard but it looks like you can do it all online now.
