my ten gallon cracked a while ago, so now i don't have a place to put my pair of jewel cichlids (fry are staying in the 35. 150 babies can't really live in a 10 gallon tank lol). i was looking at some silicone sealant, but it doesn't say anything about aquariums on the back. i have a tube of silicone cawlking that says it would be fine, but i can't find the cawlking gun :gun:

so, i'm guessing that it is fine, but just to be sure, i'm asking you guys;)

100% pure is what you are looking for....

Im sure a few can chime in on brands.

look for sea grade stuff regular is bad i think

A new ten gallon is ten bucks. A tube of silicon is seven bucks, plus your time.

If it cracked then no, if it poped a seal then yes. Unless you have a spare glass pane laying around to replace the pane The crack will just get bigger and fail
