Ran out of food for my Pyxie Frog last week. So in essence, he didn't each for a couple of week. After the first week, I noticed that he looked like he was going into hibernation mode again.
Eyes shut, no movement, skin looking a bit dry.
I was able to get him food today and I woke him up...again...yesterday, but I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone:confused:

He's full awake now, lol. He's eating like a champ...packing away 2-3 adult mice a week. I was thinking of getting him on small rats, but they still look like they might be a bit much for him.

Mine always go into hibernation ,when the cage, or they themselves become to dry.
I doubt it had anything to do with the frog not eating for a week or two.

Forgot to mentioned that I fed it a cold mouse. It was thawing and I had to leave the house, so he had a cold meal.
