A while back I posted that two of my three Oscars had paired and were spawning. To update -- I never did get a live hatch or take their rock out to artificially try it.
I broke my ankle and that curtailed a LOT of fishroom activity for weeks!
I'm all better now, but in the meanwhile found a professor in Orange County & a fish friend driving down his way, who wanted the pair for a circular 450 all to themselves to give them a chance.
So they are now a university project and I hope it goes well.
Which leaves me with the one smaller Oscar, who was being badly bullied by the pair, that I've put in a different tank (as I'm selling my 150--SOLD, but still need home for Fabio my RTC.)
And now he's pouting and listless ... Not sure what to do. I may take him to the LFS I rescued him from?? Or otherwise re-home him too. I can keep him fine... But I don't know what will make him happy again. He's not too interested in food or feeders.
