how do you guys do it, i'm currently getting my basement worked on and am going to need to move another 125 into a room that already has a 125,55,10,40 gals in it, it's a 1st story room, and the floors from the crawl space look plenty strong to me, but i'd like to be sure, so i'm looking for help from anybody that has done it before.

nobody????

figure otu wher the tanks going to go then diig a footing pour concrete use 4x4 posts
lag bolted to the joists

If the crawlspace has concrete on the floor already you can just build a new wall down the middle of the floor with the studs lined up under the floor joists. This effectively cuts the floor joist spans in half. Make sure you put plastic vapor barrier between the bottom plate of the new wall and the concrete floor.

Yeah, if you've got access UNDER the tank room, dwarf walls to support the middle of the floor would be the way to go.
There may even be a cheaper way to get the strength, depending on the way your floor is constructed.
Might just be able to build a couple of columns rather than a whole wall.

you can build a "strong back" when i use to frame houses we put them on ceiling joist that were large spans. all you do is nail a 2x4 across the joist, make sure the 2x4 if wide side against joist, then take a 2x12 and stand it up long ways and nail to the 2x4 and to the joist. this attaches all the joist together.. for one to bow they all have to, and bow the 2x12 aswell.. does that make scense?

sounds good guys, if i have any more specifec questions, i'll let you guys know.

I built beams then supported them with floor jacks.
