Reintroducing male

i have a pair of jags that as breed
i removed male after eggs hatched (he would not or could not go near female and eggs)
it has been about 3 weeks and fry have been removed
she is still in kill mode

? how soon do those of you who separate your m/f after breeding reintroducing them

you no you realy don't have to seperate them i had a pair of jags spawn in my tank number of times and botb of the parents were very good protectors this is what there in with 24"silver aro' 22"jag cat 14" midas' and numerous large cichlids

i have seen good parents and this male wasnt one
the female didnt think so either
and to avoid any problems i removed him she seemed to relax

when she freaks out she really freaks out
looks and sounds like a ping pong ball bouncing of the sides of the tank

I would take her out and rearrange the whole tank then add them both at the same time...
