Reliable Aquarium Chiller?

I want something cheap that could chill maybe a 20 gallon tank. Will this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/Aquarium-Base-T...c0.m14&_trkparms=65:15|66:2|39:1|293:1|294:50 anyone know? Just want to raise some baby trout or mosquito fish, not sure what they are, but the lake they came from was way cold.

thats a contorller. not a chiller. thats only for controlling ur chiller. chillers are alot of money. and i do mean alot!!

I have heard (not done) of people making reliable chillers out of small refidgerators like the type used in college dorms. you will have to drill two holes an input and an output with a long length of aquarium hose coiled up inside as the water pumps through it will be chilled the longer hose the more time the water spends in their and the colder it will be when returned to the tank. This device may be usfull in controlling your homade chiller though

yeah, but the small refrigerator idea, just seems like such a hassle. What temperature do you think is a good temperature for these kinds of fish?

get a small dorm fridge and run some airline tubing through it. this will cool your tank! you can use a strap or bungee to keep the door shut tight. also, i'm sure you can play with the settings on the fridge and the flowrate to control the temp better. this would cost maybe 40 bucks
