Is there anywhere I can go in Central Texas to possibly buy some fancy goldfish? I know I can get them online, but I prefer to get fish in person, especially the more personable and individualistic fish. I have Austin Aqua-dome, Aqua-Tek, and Fish Gallery near me, but I'm not certain of the quality of their fancy goldfish- I'm no expert on fancies. Does anyone know much about their quality of goldfish? If not, is there a breeder or such in the Austin area?

I don't know Texas, so I won't blame you for disregarding my post; but from personal experience I tend to go back and forth to different LFS until I get the fish i'm looking for, a lot of time its luck for me with fancy goldfish patterns and fins etc, like finding a diamond in the rough
That's my strategy for bettas. This beauty was a Petco find:
I once took 20 photos of him within about 5 minutes (he's skittish and doesn't like cameras), and his colors were different in every shot because the angle of the light on him kept shifting as he swam around.
What I'm really looking for is healthy fish. Fancy goldfish seem a bit prone to various issues if they aren't really good stock.
