Recently, I took my 120g out of the wall in basement, and moved it upstairs. did cause may b moving anytime, and alot quicker to move in it's new location. Anyways, I keep 4 IT's in tank, 6"-12".
When I had them in basement, 3 were stable almost all time, the 12/13" only sumtimes (ya, would think the largest b more stable). But since the move, not much action in the tank. Mainly just sit blending into driftwood n such, like they always did when I first got, sum 5yrs ago. Accept one, my 10" Ybar (my fav), he's stayed 100% stable. Id call it the alpha out of the tank, even tho never really bother other dats, but cause will put my largest in place if need b.
So, besides that one, all others seem to hide most of day. Not sure if it's the sunlight, new lights above tank, or maybe just the new surrounding environment in general.
Just thought id share with u guys the big impact a move had on my indos. I've kept lots of different fish over past 20yrs, SW,FW, and gotta say understanding these guys has been more challenging than any other fish I've owned!
