The little baby Teugelsi I posted about days ago is missing an eye. It lives along in the tank so I don’t think there’s any foul play. I think it’s so small that from start to finish purchasing it and putting it into its tank it was so small that I never noticed it until I looked closely at it. It is the size of a quarter, after all.

There doesn’t appear to be any sign of infection. Just an empty pit where an eye should be with a very faint white mark on it’s head above the eye socket. He is active and has an appetite.

any reason to worry about it? Will it live a normal life?

I also have one poly that’s missing an eye. Still doing well and eating well. Not much to worry about.
