While I was figuring the best place to run water lines for my 10G, I had a thought. I stopped and looked at my tank, then thought back to my first tank a 10g; with top fin HOB. I thought about my first sump a ugly 50G Rubber maid, with cut up straws and bath scrubbers.
I just thought about how far I have come in my obsession, drilling holes for water lines through the house. I was a bit in awe in how far I have come in the past couple years; and how I still know nothing about the hobby. I have a better idea about it then an average keeper, but thats about it. I learn something new every day, and can't imagine a time when one could understand every aspect of the hobby.
How ever we are MFK right? so we are always testing the limits of the hobby; through the shared knowledge of others.
