Well, well...It looks like this particular forum is getting very problematic. Trolls who call others trolls when they themselves are trolls for initiating an unprovoked attack.

The staff is getting complaints about your general attitude. Time to take it down a notch before we start coming down here harder if that becomes necessary. How about that?

When you agreed to be a member, did you read these excerpts in the forum rules? Perhaps, I need to remind you again these excerpts.

"Flaming," or lashing out at other participants or displaying repeated dissatisfaction of Monster Fish Keepers Administration and corrective actions, is strictly forbidden. Proper etiquette is required for participation in Monster Fish Keepers.

"Trolling," or posting insulting or deliberately divisive threads/replies for the purpose of (1) harvesting retaliatory insults and flames, or (2) throwing off the balance of the forum, is also disallowed.

Your trolling attitude is detrimental to the balance and growth of the forum in general. People of all levels of experience ask for advice here, same reason you joined us here, is that correct? Then, ask yourself if you like to be slapped on the wrist all the time because you ask "dumb" questions or share "dumb" methods of how the fish are treated/kept. You could have kept a broader mind when it comes to controversial topics but instead, you choose to show your lack of maturity by calling others out, calling them "stupid", "idiot". How about giving them some slack?

Totally agree with paul on this.. off late there have been unnecessary threads, exchange of unpleasant words etc.. i jus wish people would listen if they ask for opinions or advice and people who respond would drop the holier than thou attitude..

Paul, could the guidelines for posting in ancient fish forum be, say, renamed as Guidelines for posting in Arowana forum and made a sticky here also.. could help a lot of the newcomers as well as others..

The aim of a troll is to induce trollish behavior in others who are not normally trolls.
IMHO the more popular a forum is the more trolling will arise, the more heavily it needs to be modded.
Sad but true, it's a sign of internet success.

I presume the "50 gal big enough?" type threads are the focus of this warning. TBH i didn't even look at them, but it might be an idea for a mod to close them imediately and point the newbie to the stickies.
Lupin is right, my first thread was of a similar type TBH.
