beautiful nano!

Replace the common pleco with a bristlenose and you'll be sweet!
(commons if fed and housed correctly should hit 10"+ in 12 months...)

Watch the tiger barbs, they can be little bastards! puffer may pick on the smaller fish too?

Aren't yellow labs african cichlids? high ph/hard water fish?

looks very nice

Looks good dude. Only thing I'd do is try to move the tube over some more or add another leafy plant to help hide the tube, other than that it's pretty sweet.

the puffer leaves all the fish alone? I've heard they're pretty mean regardless of size. That's what stopped me from getting one for a smaller tank, not a fan of the 1 fish in a tank thing.

yeah....it is definitely an oddball mix for sure.....that tube is just plain too long! can't do anything with it for now....

puffer --- sticks to himself, cute little guy too...eats his food and leaves everyone along....

tiger barbs! i hate them....they are pretty, eat well, grow fast, but bother everyone......they usually stick to themselves....but once in a while....

the biggest pain, the lone zebra danio (the other three are the red variety) - he is a lone wolf....bites everyone....

the common - don't worry, he will be leaving once he is too big....for now he enjoys HIS world.....

the cichlids.....they will move soon also - but for now, their environment seems to suit them, eat well, growing goood, showing nice color....

Cool info on the puffer, will have to do some more research for when I finally get my 33 set up.

I've kept tiger barbs but just with bigger fish, mostly convicts and firemouth cichlids, they stuck to themselves and didn't bother anyone but I didn't dare put them in with my angels just incase. I've also heard keeping them in odd numbers helps. I had 5 but then sometime last year I lost one a day till all 5 were dead, couldn't figure it out since water params were fine and they didn't really show any signs of being bit or nipped.

My common plec is one of the most aggressive fish I've owned very territorial even in the 120 and he's only around 7 inches but he goes after my 13" poly and my 8-9" JD. Glad he doesn't do it often but I still may have to give him up which will suck cuz he's one of my originals from 2.5 years ago. He gets shrimp pellets, zuchinni, algae wafers, market shrimp but yet he still goes for my fish.:irked: The other morning when I went to turn on their lights and feed them I saw him in the corner sucking on a headless 4" goldfish that had been living in the tank for about 5 months, I moved him (pleco) from his 75 into the 120 only a week ago. Hopefully yours ends up being friendlier.

I like the rubbernose plecs, they have been the best algae eaters so far for me.

I haven't had any plecs take care of algae for me, but my farlowella cat is amazing at it. I bought it cuz it looked sweet and when I woke up the next day all the brush(bush?) algae was gone from my plastic plants which was a nice bonus :D

Nice tank :D

I hope you know that the GSP is going to need saltwater as an adult though...They won't last long in freshwater.

Do you have any pics of the puffer?
