So I've been bored with my 29gal tropical comminity tank. Especially since its sitting next to my newly setup cichlid tank. But my wife likes her "pretty little fishys." The gravel substrate isn't all that appealing either so I decided to take it apart, clean and put sand in it. It looks so much better now and fish seem happy with their newly remodeled home.
Now I gotta clean it. Had to remind someone not to leave the window open.
Almost good to go. I had this driftwood soaking for a while but it was still too buoyant so I screwed on an old plastic plate to the bottom to keep it submerged.
Yay, new home!
1x Rainbow Shark
4x Zebra Danios
3x Platys
1x Peppered Cory Catfish
3x Blackskirt Tetras
I'm gonna get a few more corys and maybe something else. I also finished making room for my 125 and 180 that I'll be getting as soon as I finish paying off a few bills.
Yeah, she thinks I'm nuts.
