I was in bunnings (warehouse similar to walmart) tha other day and i found these powerboards that have wireless controllers and i am thinking of getting one.
they have 4 outlets and are controlled individually.
i was wondering if it would be a good idea to get one so i can turn the light off at night or if it gets cold at night or turn the heater on.
it could be good for maintainence eg. water changes i could have a diy water changer with electric gate valves.
the reason i am considering this is that sometimes i go away for the weekend and i need a simple way for my mom/mum to do these things if sha has to.
My main reason for thinking this is that i had an aqua one tank full of natives that i cought and shrimp, the shrimp crawled into the built in box filter and blocked up the pump and the fish suffocated due to lack of oxygen.
