Remove black off acrylic ?

Is it possible to remove the black back ground off my acrylic tank? Thinking I can maybe remove it and make it into a wall type but have it see thru it'll be in basement so anyway to do it?

Depends if it's black paint or actual black acrylic. I tried flat razoring the paint off my acrylic tank and it wouldn't budge. Not sure if it was latex or not because I wasn't the original owner. However I did my 125 in black krylon fusion for plastics and if you breathe on it it chips off lol. Could have the paint off that thing in 30 seconds if I wanted.

Allot of black backs are actually bonded to the acrylic and wont come off.

I have been told by guys that flip tanks for a living that ,even if it's paint, it's a nightmare:popcorn:
