Remove PVC Cement from bulk heads

So I found out that the previous owner had cement glue the PVC bulk heads from inside the overflow chamber! Ugh!

How can I remove the PVC so I can replace the bulk heads?

This may not be much help, but when I purchase tanks with bulkheads, I simply buy new ones..... not worth cleaning them up in my opinion, especially if your are trying to remove welded parts. The seals tend to break apart on older bulkheads as well.

if it is glued, you're screwed. you can't undo the glue. good luck.

Chances are the PVC bulkhead is siliconed to the tank. It should separate with side to side or twisting force.
