framcosco Peacock Bass MFK Member Nov 15, 2010 1,541 492 122 120 los angeles, ca Oct 14, 2011 #2 This may not be much help, but when I purchase tanks with bulkheads, I simply buy new ones..... not worth cleaning them up in my opinion, especially if your are trying to remove welded parts. The seals tend to break apart on older bulkheads as well.
