Remove Scratches from acrylic tanks

I have a 240 that is acrylic and has some scratches, i hear people talking about polishing the scratches out, i know you need sand paper and novus but is there a sticky on how to or can anyone tell me how they did it, im interested in doing it my self i just dont wanna make the tank worse.

Search novus 1, 2, and 3 on google...amazon I think has it for the cheapest...directions should be on the package/bottle

i didnt novus before on this tank and it didnt get out the deeper scratches. it made it smoother but didnt get them out, so just wondering with sand paper what do you start with and all.

start wetsanding

start moving up from 1000 to 4000 grit (depending on how deep your scratches are) try to stay in one motion

then use novus
