This may or may not be an obvious question, but I'm moving a large tank to another room; and have drained it 90-95% with a syphon, but I can't really remove the last bit of water that is spread evenly on the bottom with syphon or jugs.

Anyone have any tips or tricks for getting at that last bit of water? It's just me as well, so I can't really tip the tank up or anything, nor would I want to

You've removed the vacuum tube portion of the Python for the draining correct?

Otherwise, all I can think of would either be a wet/dry vac, or using a large sponge

Nope lol, will try that; I take it agitation wouldn't work, it'll be the old mouth on one end of the tube method? (Yes, it sounds wrong)

....or you can just refill a bit from the tap to get the hose fully filled with water again

A bath towel or very large sponge will do the trick . Put it on the bottom, soak, up the water, take it out and wring it in a tub, then repeat.

Hello; Yes, this is what I have done myself. While it is not likely the towel will leave behind much in the way of soap residue, I give a tank a decent rinse before a final fill up as a just in case.

As an aside to expand my point. I stayed in costal North Carolina for part of two years. I also was in Kentucky part of the time. I discovered that my clothes had enough soap residue when first washed after a move that I did not really need to add detergent for the first wash. I forget which way. Anyway just another thing to keep in mind.

This is the reason I have large bath sponges just for fish purposes

I usually just grab a thick cotton towel and just soak it and squeeze in a bucket placed inside the tank. I also like to rinse tank before setting up again with 50/50 water and vinegar . Don't be lazy, squeeze some darn towels -_-.
