They are breeding out of control in one of my shrimp tanks, are there ways to get rid of them, should I buy some sort of small fish to do it? The tank is 3 gallons.

Some fish like them, some don't but most fish you buy to eat scuds will also eat the shrimp larva.;)

could you remove the shrimp to a separate tank then introduce a fish that eats these things then once theyre gone remove the fish and reintroduce shrimp?

That would be too hard, there are too many shrimp to move and my RCs are too delicate. But there are currently no larvae in there, but some small babies at about 4 mm. Would a sparkling gourami do the job?

Sparling gourami would eat the shrimp. Just try and do more water changes and cut back on food. They will always be there. I got soem copepods, worms and snails in my tank. But the number seemed to have gone down.
