Removing black paint background?

Any ideas on stripping my black background off my 300 gallon acrylic? Not sure if the original owner used latex paint. Anyone ever do this successfully and how?

It depends if it's painted or not. And then obviously the type of paint. Not worth the effort unless it's latex paint IME and if it is you should be able to take it off pretty easily with your fingernail if you dig in.

Please tell me you're not wanting to go from black to blue?

I'm going to investigate it a little further when I get home. Yeah was debating blue. Haha
