i recently got a fishtank from a neighbor that was painted black on the back. i find the black background is not super flattering to my fishies so i want to remove it. course i didn't think of this until it was full of water and fish and running happily. any way i can remove the paint without emptying my tank? it's already sort of chipping in one corner...

drain it and save the water in buckets or huge rubbermaid trashcans (depends on how big it is) and move it when your done just put the water and fish back in and put on a new background.
