I used a 2" tube to siphon out the gravel. which works really well but this removes alot of water. i removed about 50% of the gravel in a 180g tank and also removed about 40% of the water. which is good cuz i ended up doing a water change. but the bad thing is i gotta wait about a week to remove the other half of the gravel..

I was wondering if there are any other better ideas on removing gravel out there! post some ideas!

i was thinking that but i didnt want to dirty up the water at the same time.. but most likely i will end up netting up the rest.. lol

what i use is a easter bucket with very tiny holes in the bottom for drainage. when u do this, do a water change at the same time youll remove more gravel and all the dirt will be sucked into the spihon

Dude...kitchen strainer, dustpan, serving spoon, cup, bowl, plate, small bucket, large bucket, medium bucket, shovel, trowel, ladle, jello mold, net, ashtray, hat.
