Removing mama moorii

Quick question here,
I got a cyrtocara moorii with free swimming fry, they don't seem to get in her mouth anymore but mother is still defending them, the fry are swimming free for 3 weeks now .
Should I remove mama Moorii or is it too soon ?
And are there any tips about returning her in the main tank ?

Once the fry are free swimming, they don't need mama. LOL! Put the female back in the main tank just before you turn the lights out.
