Hey guys,

Just got an acrylic tank that was painted on 3 sides with light blue but is peeled in certain areas. I would like the back to just be painted black but knowing this is an acrylic tank I am guessing I can't just treat it like my other glass ones and scrape the paint off.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mitch

Paint the inside with krylon fusion.

What about the two end pieces that I would like to be clear? Is there no safe way to remove the paint other than sanding im guessing?

Have you tried using a towel soaked with water and laying it on the painted surface for a couple hours? This may work if the paint is latex based.
