Removing paint from tank

Am in the process of buying a tank that has blue paint on it. What is the best way to get it off? Can I use a razor blade, dont want to use any chemicals.

Razor blade should work fine.

I just did one by razor blades.......used up 3 blades......it was tough paint!

razor blade on glass is fine, but dont do it to acrylic.

black backgrounds are definitely the way to go. 3D ones look nice too, PITA to make though.
