removing silicon

When I resiliconed a tank a few months ago I guess I got some on my fingers and touched multiple parts of the tank on the outside. Its noticeable. Too think to get off with a razor blade without scratching the tank. Any tricks on how to get it off?

a good razor blade shouldnt scratch the glass just use a brand new sharp blade and wet the glass

You could try a bit of acetone to help loosen up the silicone.
