yeaaa, so i have a used tank that is in great condition, but there are a few spots where the silicone is deteriorating. i tested for leaks, but there was still some slight condensation that didn't look good, so i'm just going to re-silicone it.

problem is, it's a pain in the butt to peel/cut off! is there a special way of doing this?

I take it you mean you are totally dismantling the tank and resealing it from scratch...

The best way is to buy a large pack of razor blades and cut/scrape it apart... don't hesitate to toss a used razor blade for a new one... new ones cut a LOT easier...

well, i've been reading some tutorials on just cutting the inside sealant out and resealing. i guess it's gonna be a pain no matter what. just seems easier in the tutorials, lol.
