The impeller shaft on one of my 2217's broke. After disassembling it, the impeller looks fine (thankfully), but the bushings look really worn. The bushing on the bottom was easy enough to remove, but the one that sits inside the well just would not come off.

Has anyone come up with a trick / tool for pulling those out?

I have used a dental style pick before with good results. A wooden skewer for shish ka bob will also work or any item that is comparable in size to the rubber bushing hole that the shaft fits into.
