I need to pick up a few new air pumps to drive my Hydro V sponge filters. My tanks are currently in different rooms, so I'm stuck with diaphragm air pumps for now. For example, in one room I have two tanks, each running two Hydro V's.

Does anyone know if a Rena 400 is powerful enough to run four Hydro V's?

Thanks in advance!

I am running 2 hydor V in my 150g along with my fx5 and 33g sump. I have 2 extra ones but not enough hose to connect them. i'm pretty sure the rena 400 can run atleast 4 with no problems. I'll have to buy more hose and try it for you.

That would be awesome. Thanks!!!

Well got around to buying more hose and some splitters. My 150g is 2 feet deep I am disappointed to say i could only run 3 (2 V and 1 IV). i tried adjusting the flow and it was pretty weak.

cant seem to edit unless I am blind and can't see the edit button.

I used 2 ball valves on each line and it powers 4 hydor 5.
