I have this rena xp3 laying around that came with my 125 gallon when I bought it. I have an FX5 and sponge filters running the 125, I WAS going to hook the XP3 up for extra filtration, but...
I was in a LFS today and they had a good deal on a 33 gallon. I've been looking for a long, low tank for a while now. All my fish in my 20 are going to get moved into the 33 (tiger barbs and polka dot loaches).
So, is a filter rated at 350gph just too much flow for a 33 gallon? I know the attitude around here is you can never have too much filtration, but it just seems pretty beast. I don't want my fish blown up against the opposite wall of the tank from the output.
