I have an 85 gallon tank with sand substrate and a large bioload. I ran a worn out impeller too long in my Rena XP4 and now there is a small hole in the housing area for the impeller which has caused my filter to leak water where the power cord goes into the unit. Do I have to replace the entire top motor unit or is there a cheaper alternative? Any way to patch it???
