Hey everyone, I have a chance to get a new XP4 for about $90. I just wondered what you guys thought of this one, filtration capabilities and ease of cleaning, etc. I only have fluval canisters at the moment but extra filters certainly never hurt and it does seem a good deal. A local store is going out of business, I've picked up various other stuff and they have one of these left I"m thinking about. Thanks for the help..

It's a good price with decent filtration. I think it's like 200gph actual flow and very easy to clean. Definitely pick it up.

damn send it to me! haha i would definatly pick that up great deal and a great filter i have two xp3s and love them so easy to do maintenance on get it!
Pretty please with the one I have on my turtle tank which stays about 1/2 - 3/4 full. Flow stays constant, except when my turtles knock off the intake pipe!

I agree with everyone else....they are VERY easy to clean and have a decent GPH. I have 2 of them on my snapping turtle tank and never had a problem.....and they are extremely messy turtles.
Thanks guys, the easy to clean thing is sounding good. I know what fun the fluvals are and something easier would be nice.
