RENA XP4

i just bought a brand new rena xp4 canister for my 24x24x60, i had a fluval 404 and it started leaking out near the handles the day before yesterday? anyone know how to fix this? as i wanted to use both on my tank? any other ideas for easy filtration on 150 gallon? the rena is doing a great job on the tank by itself, but i think i would like a little more filtration. also is 140$ good for a brand new Xp4?

I use (2) rena xp3's on my 150 g, one was not enough even though the manufacturer's recommned only one xp3.

If u can afford it just get 1 Fx5 but the Xp4's cant push 5 ft of head at all so if ur going up 4ft im sure its not very good. They just dont have any ass to them. So i sold my Xp4 and did the Fx5 and now i clean the damn thing so often cause i had a Oscar Devil Clown Knife Pacu Texas Convict Severum Red terror Pleco Sydonis Cat and the Fx5 cant keep up but does one hell of a job. Everytime i cleaned it (each week) it was black water coming out of that thing. I guess i should of Cleaned it twice a week but it was such a hassle for me. Not anymore though caue im tag teaming the Fx5 with a 35gal sump! If u got ut Xp4 from the LPS take it back. This is what i did and just came up with the difference for the Fx5.

mine seems to being doing great so far
