Rena's SmartHeaters..... good/bad

whats your thoughts on the SmartHeaters?

Does anyone know if the light stays on all day? I know it flashes if the temp change is within 5degrees of the setted temp.

i don't like it because it doesn't heat my tank that good...i'm using a ebo jaeger heater and it works fine...

i think i would trust a ebo or a stealth heater to do a better more reliable job

I have the old top of the like rena heaters and they work great in accurate but do a good job, those look like crap... :|

the heater is designed to be connected to the smart filter line. the heater will be more efficient if used in this respect. i think its a bad design because theres much better hang on filters then the rena! JMO
