Renewed my 20gal

Yeah I know, not a huge task, but it was fun, and the end result was amazing, very pleased with myself...

My brother and I plan to breed plecos in this tank once the other fish are moved out (this Saturday ), so it needed to be clean. I got rid of the gravel, as I wanted to try bare-bottom, since it is easier to clean. First time I tried bare-bottom tanks, very pleased. I decided to use two filters for this tank as plecos are meant to like stong current. This tank has about 4 times flow thru it. I put some pieces of driftwood in to make it look a little better as well, tell me what you think, yay or nay.

It looks ok for a bare bottom tank. Less cleaning for you & they're only juveniles i did the same thing with my RBP's till they got bigger. Bottom pic. of your setup alot better & is that a homemade tank?

hmmm, i would have gone swordtales or neon tetras with plants. hmmm, waiting for one of my tanks to empty out after merging communities ...then a big small fish tank =P

Thanks mate, no not a home made tank, got it for chrissy of mum and dad a few years ago, it's got sentimental value.

I agree about it looking better fo sho.

It doesn't have any plants any more = no neon tetras
