I have a situation in one of my tank where if I don't change the water for 2-3 the fishes start getting these white fungus look alike things on their fins and body. It goes away after doing WC then it comes back

I don't really want to tear the tank done so if anyone has any ideas on what might be going on here would be greatly appreciated.
