Well I just ordered some new species for my 75g. 3 species only now. I ordered 8 Socolofi and 10 Saulosi and 8 Maingano. Total price is about $110. What do you think? Any suggestions???

All the fish are going to be around 2-3 inches. I ordered them from C&S cichlids www.cichlidsforsale.net. They have outstanding customer service. Shipping was $27 for 2 large boxes. The total with shipping was $110.00
shipping sounds pretty fair. The trouble will be on how well the ratio between males and females end up. Salousi from my experience end up beginning pretty male heavy.
With the Saulosi's, I told them exactly the M/F ratio I was looking for. They ordered them from the supplier large enough they could tell there sex. The ratio I ordered was for 2m / 8f. Just encase one was a sleeper.
Be ready to have a few sleepers. They always turn out way male heavy. I had a male who kept female coloration while breeding. He was removed after that.
The others should be pretty straight forward. I still worry about the others. Males of melanochromis are pretty nasty. Mine keeps all the Salousi at bay. They make for a great look together.
