So a 100g I bought on CL broke over the weekend while outside. I was planning on just throwing it away but I think it might be repairable.

All that is "broken" is 1 long side of the tank. It is completely detached from the rest of the tank. Would it be worth it to try to replace that one panel of glass or would you not trust it?

I was thinking about going to a glass shop or something and seeing if they could do it for me

It really depends on how much they'll charge for the glass pane, and how much your time is worth. You'll want to remove all the silicone and completely disassemble the tank since silicone really doesn't stick well to older silicone. After that, it's a matter of putting all the panes back in place and sealing it with new silicone. While it cures, most people use either large clamps or duct tape to hold it all together. For a 100g all glass tank, it would make a nice weekend project (with a few extra days to cure and water test).

I was thinking of trying to let a glass shop take care of it. I wouldnt really trust myself doing it. $100 going in the trash :(
