Hi, my fish got his fin stuck in the net so I had to cut off the net. I still have the outer piece. What can I do to replace the net? I think I've heard of DIY fish net projects before. Hopefully I can do it from an old stocking or something. I can't find the proper search term though. Thanks for any help.

Womens panty hose or Nylons would work and be the most liely candidate as a netting material. Or you could get a new if you have the money. A lot fo the times you can find good deals a LFS.....

Good Luck!

a diy fish net? they are like 10 bucks or you can always improvise some way.

Yah I basically have the plastic around the net, and all I need to do is get the netting right. It'd be a waste to just toss it. It's not really a money issue but a "why not DIY if it might come in handy again in the future"?

I'll try a pillow case, but that sounds like it can hold water.
